Carli Ebbett

ECA Ebbett Chartered Accountants was founded by Carli Ebbett to provide practical, trusted accounting and business advisory services built on strong client relationships.

Carli is a Chartered Accountant with a Certificate of Public Practice and over 12 years’ experience in tax and business advisory roles at Deloitte New Zealand. Her career began in Wellington before progressing to senior leadership roles in Deloitte’s Rotorua office, where she most recently served as a Director in the Tax and Business Advisory team.

During her time at Deloitte, Carli worked closely with small to medium businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and Māori iwi and commercial entities, providing support across compliance, governance, and strategic financial management. She regularly acted as a Virtual CFO, delivering hands-on financial leadership and clear, forward-focused advice.

In January 2026, Carli established ECA Ebbett Chartered Accountants to continue offering the same high standard of advice in a more personalised setting. The practice focuses on clear communication, practical solutions, and long-term partnerships that support sustainable business growth.

Based in the Bay of Plenty, Carli is actively involved in local business networks and Māori economic development initiatives and enjoys working alongside clients to help them make confident, informed financial decisions.
